I'm glad to know that the Queen has a few friends. It must be a lonely job sometimes. Jumbo sounds like a fantastic horse. Where did you learn to jump on a horse? Did your family have any?

Hope you enjoyed the article Elektragheorgheni, jn answer to your questions.
No family connection apart from grandfathers service in WWI in the Royal Horse Artillery and grandfathers brother Titch who was a Carter, a driver on horse drawn vehicles the HGV of the day.

I just got into it via the local riding school, and it developed from there, and was lucky to have dozens of horses to choose form.

You are never lonely with a horse!

Started by taking groups out trekking, took official BHS exams for instructor, designed and built cross country courses, taught disabled riders, set up a riding school in Spain.

Also tried jousting, taught 17th Century riding and dressage and use of weapons on horseback. And given the job of curing antisocial horses of Dangerous Habits such as rearing and failure to stop when asked.
If you have any questions please ask. smiley - smiley
