The kitties are tolerating her - as long as she stays away from their food.

The feeding bowl dynamics. heheh. I guess that's kind of a basic law.

And also vying for your attentions. If Lola gets to sleep on the bed, then they do also?

I once spent several months sleeping on someone's sofa, and their kittie would sleep on me all night. I'd stolen her sofa, see, so instead of being mad at me, she slept on me instead. Her purr was so loud, it sounded like a motorbike. It was like sleeping with a biker cat riding a Harley Davidson. Kept me awake half the night. And serve me right.

Better than sharing the sofa with a St Bernard though, or an Irish Wolfhound or some other huge animal. Like, a cow. Or a lion. Or a horse. Not that people tend to let their horses sleep on the sofa. Or their cows and lions.
