h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

It's 11pm and I just got home from a friend's birthday party.
There were 6 of us, and the party took place at another friend's house because birthday boy has no heating at the moment
We had croque monsieurs (there were ham and chicken, and mozarella and swiss cheese, with the different combinations that allowed).
And then we had lemon pie (a bit too acidic, probably would have needed some cream in the lemon filling), and chocolate cake (from a cake mix box, but a good surprise).

We watched some reality tv programme while chatting the evening away.
It was a good time.



I have enjoyed this NaJoPoMo, although it wasn't always easy to find things to write about.
Next year, I'll try to do something interesting every day, other than just working and sleeping

I've been following you all the time, even when I didn't comment. It was a pretty dramatic month, so it was nice to read about people's every day lives and to see that the world was still turning in its normal way.

I'm another one who works and sleeps mainly, and I haven't managed to read all your posts, but I can have a look in December now that I've finished NaNo and NaJo

That is interesting to have Croque Monsieurs with chicken I can't eat ham, but chicken and cheese toasted sounds good...

If it can fit between two slices of bread, it can go into a croque monsieur.

I also like banana and chocolate ones; I use half a banana (sliced) and a bar of kinder choc for each (or whatever chocolate I have in stock, to be honest).


I'll be catching up with your NaJo this month, too. Somehow I missed it in all the information.
