I will update on the eggs, though--I candled the eggs that had gotten cold, and one is moving like crazy One was a definite goner--it was stinky and seeping In all, I kept 2 outside eggs, and 2 incubator eggs. Only the 1 had movement, but it doesn't hurt anything to give the other 3 a chance for another day. Longer than that, with no external pip, and there's a large chance that there's some abnormality keeping the chick from hatching, and that would likely end with an unwell chick. It's much simpler to dispose of an egg than a fluffy little chick, especially if you've worked with it to help it hatch or to try to get it to survive

It is not easy raising chickens there are some things you have to do.
