I really liked these structures. Did the locals turn them into shrines or anything?

Hullo luv! He'd build a few over the summer, it didn't take long to build one, perhaps half an hour. It's all about a subtle balance, and selecting the right stones. Apparently. The people on the beach loved them, they were a feature of the summer. Some people saw them as quite sacred.
The wind would blow them down of course, and the tide would wash them away if there was a storm. Passing doggies would lift their leg on them, and passing youths would kick them down in the evenings. Ahh the life of a henge. They have to take the knocks.
