Great review! So the book contains actual recipes for Amish and Mennonite food? That must add a very interesting layer to the story. I bet the food is really nourishing and wholesome, in fact.
So what happens at the end then? You can't tell me? Hmm. Sign of a good book review, no spoilers.
I like the final paragraph, a good summing up. And the footnotes are funny, especially No 1. I can't imagine who this fella called Ed is.
