Thanks for sharing this, Willem - fantastic photos, and great to see closeups of such lovely birds.
I've taken a picture of a garden bird this year that came out so well I can see the texture of the feathers, but to actually have held some birds must have been an experience indeed!
I look forward to seeing Part 2

Hello! I'm happy you appreciate this. It's not all good though ... the next part will mention one of the tragedies that took place...
My ideal world would be one where humans stop harming the other things and the birds and animals become tame so we can approach them and touch them without causing them any distress.
