The sun in that picture makes it really
As to the question. I thought it might be something to do with Zubenelgenubi but that has already been debunked by people who know more about this.
Hmmm You indicated that it was something to do with one of the astrological references. Not being an astronomer, and certainly not an astrologer, I can only find two such references:
Jabhat al Akrab (omega1 Scorpii) is occulted by the Moon
Polis (mu Sagittarii) is occulted by the Moon
As the first one seems to be rather exotic and foreign, I would guess that it might be the one that was new to you. I have no idea what it means.

You are the closest yet, TC, I like your thinking. However there's more than two astrological references

Ah, I'll tell you what you learned. What you really really learned was that Spica, alpha Virginis is Latin for the lead singer of the Spice Girls.

The vapor trail pic looked like a sail-back lizard to me, the ones that went extinct following the comet fragment bombardment that ended the Triassic.
Original estimates for rates of impacts in a size range like Tunguska were about 1 every four centuries.
Apparently that's a bit low, especially considering there was another one that hit over Greenland during the 1990s in association of Shoemaker-Levy, Hale-Bopp and Hyakutaki.

Hi ITIWBS
Would you care to hazard a guess at what I learned while researching this edition of BATS? Some people have been close, but no-one is bang-on (yet)

You're not allowed to say that any more. Ceres is a 'planet of restricted growth'.

No, wrong again!
It was "The Moon will be in the constellation Orion 'the hunter'"
and "The Moon will be in the constellation Sextans 'the sextant'"
I didn't know the moon entered signs other than the zodiac ones.
