You can't really get ill as a carer, I know that one well.

I was recently rather poorly, too. It was just some silly bug or other, but for two whole days I was completely knocked sideways. A had to do some of the stuff that I normally would, which made him worse.

HE's been stumbling about for a few weeks, but since last week (when I was ill) he's started to fall now, and I think that might be my fault.

I will harp about blame and guilt a bit next week, but you must remember that you are trying to do a job that you are neither paid are trained to do, and the reason that things collapse when you are unwell is because nobody is there to take your place. That's not your fault, not at all.
