I usually design my own Christmas cards or letters. The catch is that I often get to doing them late in the season, so the recipients might not get them until New Year's or later. This year's theme will be strategies for coping with the end of the Mayan calendar.

One year I gave my father a box of survival essentials for Christmas. Another year I wrote an alphabetical list of applicants for the job of Santa's secretary. This year I shall probably do something on the theme of the post-Mayan Apocalyse. Santa will have survived, obviously, but maybe some things that irritate us a lot didn't.
