Interesting beards and moustaches. If I was a guy I think I would grow a beard like Tolstoy, to help with my literary career.

Maybe it was made after his tour down the Rhine? 
It helped me that you mentioned what Lew Wallace wrote, I just went for somebody looking that role, and it helped to know another author's gender.
