I didn't know that, a friend of mine heard one growl, said it was very primal
I know that you are very busy but I am so pleased that you will still be able to do Colours of Wildlife
and thankful, of course

They are truly beautiful as are all cats. It must be really thrilling to see them and be able to take a picture of them in the wild. But all cats have remarable strengh for their size even our little domestic ones can pack a real whallop if they don't want you to hold them. That is why it is good to learn about wrapping them in a towel like James Herriot describes in his books. This avoids operator injury if you don't have a tranquilizer gun handy.

I googled snow leopard's growl this morning but only had a minute and only heard one 'chuffing' I'm going back for a growl later
the way your snow leopard has it tongue just slightly out, our does that too and we were only wondering the other day if all cats did it, now we know

Hello Peanut and Elektra! Peanut, the painting is just a regular leopard, I just mention snow leopards as being relatives in the first paragraph. As for the tongue, my cat Poplap occasionally sticks her tongue quite far out, and we had a cat called Floors some years ago that did that a lot!

Gosh, I really wasn't taking things in this morning was I, my head wasn't on straight, but that bad huh
Scratchy sometimes sticks his tongue out quite far, it makes the kids squeal with amusement and they whip their phones out to take photos
