I liked this entry. Short and sweet. I also liked the explanation of the bit with the three orders of friars. Don't worry about the counting systems I am sure that they become traditional and localized by household. Unlike the Sedar it isn't written down anywhere.

Hi Beatrice

I think this Entry is not getting comments for two reasons, one being that it was already commented on in the EGE. Secondly, I think you've taken all the comments on board and there is nothing left to attend to. ie it has reached perfection. So basically, this is ready for a Scout to select.

We won't have to wait for Christmas!

This is a good little article on an interesting tradition. smiley - smiley

From what I've heard, the French don't make as much of Christmas dinner as we do in the UK, the emphasis being on Christmas Eve.
Is that right? Is Les Treize part of a bigger celebration?

Your Guide Entry has just been picked from Peer Review by one of our Scouts, and is now heading off into the Editorial Process, which ends with publication in the Edited Guide. We've moved this Review Conversation out of Peer Review and to the entry itself.

If you'd like to know what happens now, check out the page on 'What Happens after your Entry has been Recommended?' at EditedGuide-Process. We hope this explains everything.

Thanks for contributing to the Edited Guide!
