How long does it take to transfer an old BBC account to noohootoo? I requested to have my old account transferred as soon as I saw the site was up (Monday, I think). Since then I've had no email confirming that my request was received, or that my account has been transferred, or the transfer is in progress. I input all the information requested, AFAIK. My only concern is that, for some reason, the email address doesn't match what the BBC had on their records despite it being the one that was listed in my profile. I appreciate that the gnomes are probably innundated with transfer requests, but surely an automated response isn't too much to expect.


If it's any help, I was Cheerful Dragon, User id U26139. If the email address you have contains freenet.co.uk, that account no longer exists. If it contains eclipse.co.uk, I check that account once in a blue moon. The account *should* be btinternet.com. I have no confidence that the right address is stored - I didn't get any emails about the move back in July.

I want my old account back, or I may as well quit.

Sounds like it's been a problem there - and you should have received an automatic e mail saying that there had been one.

Anyway, I'm sure we can sort it out - could you e mail [email protected] ASAP and we'll do all we can to help you.

The problem was my ISP. They'd decided the response was spam. Expect no more messages from Cheerful Dragon #2 - she has left the building. Cheerful Dragon is back - and Cheerful! (OK, so I'm a portion of P.U.D.D.I.N.G - I'm not depressed all the time!)
