2005-2006 Season Update
NASN have now secured the rights to show NFL dedicated programming from ESPN and live pre-season games. So NASN viewers can look forward to seeing all their favorites once again like NFL Countdown, NFL Primetime, NFL Match-Up and NFL Live, a daily 30 minute news program. In addition, you can look forward to another season of NFL Films Presents and our library of NFL Films.

Please be assured that we are still working diligently to secure the rights to show live regular season and post season games. NASN will be making an announcement as soon as we are able to conclude our NFL negotiations.

Interesting methodologies used by BBS to pick his Pointless Preseason picks,so pointless that BBS has enough time to work out how to make his pointless picks.Of course if any of these picks do produce something like a 12 game correct forecast do we assume causation or correlation for that weeks picks?
My money is on the dark uniforms over light uniforms, having the biggest chance of success.Didn't Man Utd use a similar excuse a few years ago.
ANd just to prove how pointless these games are I too will be watching them on NASN.

I think systems always win over talent smiley - winkeye IIRC picking the home team to win every game the past few years, you'd have got about 160 of 260 games forecast correct. And that's about as good as we ever do. Or if you picked the Bengals to lose week-in/week-out during the 90s you'd have an 12-of-16 right for those matches - .750 prediction would be good. It's just a case of finding the correct system - which is what the Preseason will enable me to do ...

BTW (Channel) Five have renewed their contract to show Sunday night / Monday night games. The Sunday night games will be delayed showing until Tues/Weds morning; until the MLB season is over. Then they'll be live like the MNF games.

Thunderbear...and don't you forget it

I thought 5 had lost the rights to show live MLB games.
MLB got a bit upset about some of the scheduling or something.
Now being shown on some obscure sports channel like Greyhound & Pigeon Fanciers network.
Anyway that sounds good. Two live games on 5,assume two live games on SKY haven't heard otherwise yet.
And possibly more As-Live on NASN.
I'm going to have to start taking the football season off work smiley - smiley
