Now, this will be spoilers for anyone that didn't see the games last night or don't know the scores, but here goes anyways....
Upset of the week: Houston beating Carolina.
Close second, I'd say that the Packers coming out on top of the Vikings in the Metrodome for only the 3rd time in 12 tries.
Weirdest game of the week: Washington at Dallas. Four turnovers and two called back TDs by Dallas. In the first quarter! And they still won!
Hit of the week: http://www.nfl.com/u/nfl/photos/nflb5d_lower.jpg
Close second would be Roy Williams of the Dallas Cowboys for me. Knocking everyone out of the game including two Redskins RBs, their QB (Although he came back in) and Darren Woodson(!).
Late starter of the week: Pittsburgh @ Seattle. Field Goal Fest until 4th quarter, where they ended up with three TDs between them pushing the scoreline to a 'respectable' one instead of a snooze-fest, scoring-wise.
Kings of New York: Giants.. For now. They needed OT to settle it.
I still claim that the Cowboys own both the Giants and the Jets, which by default gives them the crown of Kings of NY.
Battle of the Rookie QBs: Leftwich got the better numbers, although relatively humble, but Boller got the win.
Blow-out of the week: San Fransisco at home against the Rams. 24-3 at half time and they ended up winning by 20...

We did play like a bunch of one legged gimps on offense last night. If not for Chad 'Pain Train' Brown in the first half I think we probably would have lost.
The fact that the two scoring drives looked easy and that D-Jac finally woke up just made it even more galling to watch.
Still, I was very impressed with Marcus Trufant.

Hey, having done a pre-lim look at the week 8 predictions, mate, in actual Fact the Arizona win was a big shock for the forum - only two people picked 'em, same as picked the 49ers. If only I'd had the courage of my convictions and picked Chooch's Lions and Favre's Packers, both of whom I thought might well win, I'd have had an outstanding as oppsoed to just a good week...
As for the Bucs, well, word is out on them and the Panthers. They can be beaten. Could be worse, could be the Redskins, who just will be beaten...

I know a few more wild picks on my part would have done well. Although I would still be over 500 got the week.

TB, 'Thud' is a great boardgame consisting of trolls and dwarves that hit each other in various ways. Trolls go "Thud" with their clubs, for instance. Nothing Scandinavian about it. As a matter of fact, DD was the one who introduced me to it.
The Buccs shouldn't really be a big surprise, I guess.. They have gone W-L-W-L-W-L-W and it was time for a L this week. W next week, then?
I picked the Houston win as the upset because really, who honestly believed that they could beat Carolina? Tony Banks in at QB instead of Carr. I mean, Come On!!
San Fran is still a pretty good team, even though they've had their woes this season. There's always a pssibility of them putting up good points on the board and play solid D.
Bungles vs Cards.. Rwho really cared who won that game? Kind of like the Chargers vs Bears game (sorry TB), both teams have been really inconsistent this season.
