I'm sorta late with this, but I'll take MLB and # 44 (since we already have one DE). As much as I hate to say it had to happen to one of my favorite teams, the lesson about defense is always learned the hard way - it'll make or break you in the end, and it could even win you a superbowl.

Yeah we don't do those. What are NFL linebackers? 50s & 90s? None of your John Riggins' ...

Alright, alright, it's been quite a week for mental errors. I'll take #51 then, in honor of my all-time favorite linebacker (we're same height/weight). I keep going like this, and I'll have to pick the Bears as my fave team in lieu of the Raiders that BBS already took.

Somebody mention my hero?
If 44 is still up for grabs - put me down for it!!
I'm too old for these fancy routes but gimme the ball and a couple of blockers and I'll grind out a yard or two and tire out the defence for FF to come in and claim the glory

KiltedJedi - although I've never heard of the position, I guess there's no reason why we can't create one. Tell us about it.
Unfortunately the precedence has been set that we should use NFL numbering - LBs in the 50s or 90s ...

Friar - can I interest you in a shirt and position?
Gladly - I'm not sure our roster can stretch to a 3 WR set. Can I interest you in another shirt and position?
KiltedJedi - 50s or 90s?

Hey, BBS.. I see you've got the team allegiances of everyone listed next to their name in the table with "Our Team" numbers.. I also see that you haven't put my team allegiance up there... Is that cause I'm a Cowboys Fan, and you don't like that, or is it just cause you forgot?

Forgot / forgettable / couldn't find it on the intro thread (didn't look too hard)
I think with Parcells in charge we may be finding it difficult to forget soon ...

Well it's that time of year and it's possible I'm going to have to cut some players from the H2G2 team. Hope it won't be the case, but if I haven't see any postings from you by the end of August, I'll be having to do the deed. No roster exemptions.

Well, I'm still around, though I'm in deep lurk mode. Dunno what's required of me to keep myself on the "active" list, but if you like can just take my number of whatever lists are necessary for game-playing type stuff (for which I do not have the time).
I'll probably post more as the season gets into full swing, but as I said to someone on my main page a bit ago, I'm following college pretty closely since my "baby" brother is playing tough in that arena and is likely to be picked up by some PAC-10 school sooner or later. More on that as it pans out.

I'm still here.. Been through a ten game season to get ready for this, and I'm now getting ready to hit the weights room to bulk up a bit.

Well, I'm listed as a Center, but I could play Iron-Man football.. I've done that before. I can be a Nose Tackle as well.. At around 21st6lbs, I'd be suited for that.
