Kenny Hamlin was taken to hospital after being involved in a fight outside a night club in Seattle after the Seahawks beat the Texans by a shed-load of points.

According to reports, he suffered a fractured skull and a blood clot near his brain.

Just saw these articles now.

Seattle players have been prohibited by Mike Holmgren to go to the district of Seattle where the fight occurred.

Sounds about right. Just as soon as the season starts to come together.smiley - sigh I hope he recovers fully in due course.

BTW, the Seattle Times-Herald seemed to be suggesting at the weekend that Tomlinson and Alexander are the only backs ever to have scored 10 touchdowns in five consecutive seasons. Surely some mistake? Surely that must be 'active NFL Backs'? smiley - erm

I think the Seattle Times-Herald missed one vital part out of that report on Tomlinson and Alexander.
I read something about that on NFL-com earlier in the week, and I'm sure they said there were only three or four running backs in the history of the league that had run for 10 TDs in their first five seasons in the league.
Can't find the article about that at the moment, but I'll keep looking.

Ah. First five seasons makes a lot more sense... smiley - ok

I have to say, I can sympathise with the banners at Q-West which simply say 'Show him the money'. There really is no reason to pretend Alexander isn't one off, if not the, premier back in the NFL.

Oh, shut it! Dammit, the Cowboys gave that game away.
And that INT that bounced off Terry Glenn's leg was just a fluke!

Well, you'll forgive me for being delghted. Even without three starting wideouts and a starting safety, we finally got one of those comeback wins that people always said we couldn't.

All credit for stopping SA from gaining the Seahawks rushing record tho'. I wopuld have put money on that this weekend as he only needed 55 yards...

Yeah, I know.. I can't blame you, really.. I'm just gutted that the Cowboys let it go in the last minute of the game.
Cortez has been cut because of the loss as he missed that 29-yarder early in the game.

I was devastated when I turned off the telly having checked the SKY Active score line only a few minutes beforehand and they still had it showing that the Cowboys were up 10-3, and then I went to my computer and see that the game finished 13-10 Seattle. Didn't like that at all.

Then again, the Cowboys made a similar comeback last year, so it's evened up things, I guess. smiley - smiley
