Sign me up...I dont care what people beleive I just wish they wouldn't use bullscience to justify it...of worse pretend that their view is the only view (any scientific geology based entry on chalcedony or quartz is now going to be forever linked with "energies" and crystals *grumble grumble*)

Certainly!
We're now up to the nice round number 8. Celebrations!
I really like "I dont care what people beleive I just wish they wouldn't use bullscience to justify it." can I use it in the Entry?

Nah, I'll just add a (sic) after each. I put it in under the new heading Member opinions. I'll add more quotes and links to member writings (or rants) as they arrive.

Hello, I'd like to join, please.
While I'm here, could I put in a plug for the Freedom From Faith Foundation, a nice place for religious skeptics to gather... *digs for link*... A665101! Some of you may already be members.

Yay, the more the merrier.
And from my initial impression of FFFF it looks like where I'll get my reading material for the next few days. I'm predicting I'll apply for membership there as soon as I get my bearings... I mean, it's _huge_.

It has been around since January, 2000...
Actually, that you haven't stumbled across it before (you've got a 5-digit U-number) is a testament to how huge this website is!
'"Space," it says, "is big. Really big. You just won't believe how vastly hugely mind-bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist, but that's just peanuts to space. Listen..." and so on.'

Not to diminish the size of the place, but my five-digit researcher number is somewhat misleading. I've been active enough over the last few months to hide it way back in older entries and older conversations, but I was only briefly here in 1999 and only returned this summer. I registered while having occasional internet access at the end of my military service, posted one entry, my introduction on Nov 13, 1999, and one reply to the conversation Eating socks on Nov 19.
That monday I finished my military service and started working, I was also cut off from the internet for a while, and when I returned I had mostly forgot about h2g2. So for one and a half years I was absent. Then on June 13th I posted The return of NAITA, and on June 18th I started my first real entry, which is now an Edited Entry.
Ok, I'll stop talking about myself now, I should have been asleep half an hour ago... Well, I guess they won't miss me when I come a little late for work again.
