Graham Spence aka G - U209725 is the authour in question and I hope you will feature his wonderful tale soon. Two days ago he offered the Butlin's piece A880553 to <./>AGGGAG and I made a few comments at: http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/alabaster/F84877?thread=225965 where you will find the full text of the entry along with my brutally frank editorial and personal response (some points of which I hope you will consider). You will also note he has not yet replied. So perhaps you will post there as well, repeating your offer to feature him solo in the Post. My next issue is getting full and none of the other Aggists have yet ventured into this Graham Spence thread. I can then safely recant on my offer knowing his wonderful tale of nostalgia will get better dues on your front page. peace ~jwf~

Thanks for that ~jwf~
He sent his 'real' name but nothing else, so I was unsure of the origin. I have dropped by the relevant thread and made a suggestion as to enlightening those not cognascent of Butlins - a very British institution.
And now, I must away to my bed for a few hours - I have yet another exam to prepare fro on Friday and haven't learnt any of the new words yet!
