Mr. Dreadful - But really I'm not actually your friend, but I am... Posted Jul 4, 2011
Sorry, fluffy, but "really? What have you learned?" does come across as quite confrontational, and rather incredulous as well.

ahh well i see that your "quite" trumps my "maybe" but, after all, i am not really on trial here.
some of you are... actually, alot of you are
essentially i am saying that i am not sorry if i do come across as quite confrontational
yea even incredulous
because since the subject of wolfden's victimization came up
no one has taken any responsibility for their behavior
its one thing to make a mistake
its another thing to not admit it when it is exposed
and it is reprehensible when that nonadmission jeopardizes the health of the community

The community is fine Fluffy. Let it rest for a bit. We dug it up for a bit. People do know I think.
You might want to contribute to the thread I started about people coming here with learning disibities for the future.
You're not perfect admit it. None of us are. But we know when and when not to nuke from orbit most of the time.
I was fully behind you when you first exposed it. But I think we should let it rest a bit.
You're on your own now.
And I want no part in any more discussion of Della wars for the next 5 minutes. That can rest a while too.
Blame 2legs.

you know, after my posting in the earwigs thread,
i didnt post again
for at least a day
maybe two
i was reading backlogs
and i noticed you have a posting pattern
where you post alot
even more than one or two posts before anyone answers
and you post in different threads on the same subject
so its no wonder you get tired of the subject early on
but some of us have barely broached the subject
maybe only posted one thought
just something to think about

Perhaps a key factor then in many of the disputes, ... including the current one of concerns for a man long gone ... is empathy? Some have none, others feel it only for those that they feel have been wronged. But never notice a lack of it within themselves, and so go on, and on and on.

Nor do you call the shots, fluffy. If a "trial" (your word, not mine) is needed the community at large will call for it.
I have never denied my part in the LW affair. But anything I said towards the end, after my patience had been worn paper thin, had nothing to do with his disability and everything to do with his being a troll. He was asked, initially politely, over a period of several months to stop spamming and flooding threads (both of which are against the House Rules) and if he wanted to make several points at once to put them in a single posting rather than posting several times. Each and every time he basically told us to off. He was incredibly disruptive and seemed to revel in it, but it was always *our* fault when someone lost their rag.
I'm not proud of what I did, but I have never denied that I did it. It was six years ago, for Bob's sake, it really is time to move on. A lot of the worst culprits aren't even here any more. I'm an ACE these days, if I really were a horrible person do you think I'd have been accepted as one?
People make mistakes, people change. This is my final word on the subject.

In one reguard to your post, Fluff, I can only suggest that ACE's are as human as the rest of us. A good or bad day in all of the real world will determine how they react. I have worn the results of a very short fuse of an ACE when they had a bad day over-all. A badge does not make a person a saint, but it does show that they have every good intention of trying to be the best nature.

thank you Nick... its true we are all human
but in that spamming case there
where noone should have done that
an Ace should have stepped in to stop it
(not contribute to it)
its part of the definition of being an Ace
and Peanut?
i dont understand that second posting
but in answer to the first
i have to apologize
i really wanted to present this all in a nice little package
but it is just coming out in reaction to other peoples reactions
i want accountability
maybe someone could point me to the area in hootoo
where the wolfden thing was assessed
and responsibilities were discovered
and warnings and disciplines were carried out?
or if it wasnt
maybe now it could be
i kinda thought that you all would be glad
after 6 years of maturing and spritual growth
to be given an opportunity to make amends
to come clean
also... i want discussion... to make a plan
on an effective way to deal with bullies
and trolls
and mob violence
because it is still going on today here
and there is a way to deal with it
we just have to find it

That was an incendiary post and I'm not surprised it's been yikesed or pulled.
With regard to accountability I point to the BBC
This not up for a 'public trial' in the way you are going about it.

and here was me thinking yours was a voice of reason and compassion
who really wanted to know what i was getting at here
we use alot of words trying to communicate
i think you all know what i am getting at
hootoo needs to discuss and come up with solutions
to the bullying problem
but i am afraid that you all dont want to do that
so now
my main aim here
is to protect the victims from hootoo
