i really don't want to get into a rant about oil-mongers and the one semi-sure way of getting out of an economic depression by going to war somewhere. the best thing the American gov't has ever done is follow Jack Kennedy's lead in establishing the space program, which has been explored and explained since Jules Verne shot a cannon and craft to the moon, followed by H.G. Wells.
i could make a valid case that cyberspace is a DIRECT result of astronautics and that sci-fi writers like heinlein, asimov and clarke, among many others, are the socrates, plato, voltaires and shakespeares of the 20th century, but i don't wanna go on a rant.

Neugen, i've been trying to prod the powers-that-be into accepting the A650369 from Vidmaster into the Guide and they can delete my A849080, or append it, just get the bleep thing into the Guide! you may know your way around better than i.

yeah, i think it's in good hands and will be a Guide entry right soon, just because RAH deserves to be in the Guide, it's just they want it to be near-perfect. a yahoo or google search on Heinlein will show many sites already up and running that can be referenced.
