Can people be encouraged to wear name badges?

I hope that every one will
mine will not win any pirzes, but it will let every one know who I am
I would not normaly wear a name tag, If you are going to meet a lot of strangers then it don't matter who knows you and who don't, so you dont need one
If you are going to meet a lot of people that you know, then they know you so you dont need one,
but we are going to meet a lot of strangers that we know so it would be nice to be able to put a face to all the names I know
It would be a shame to be stting next to GreyDesk ( for example; who I have seen a lot on here ) and then going home and still not to have met GreyDesk

Mina,
can we have some more information on the badge-competition?
And what if someone is not artistic enough to make one?

I can't give our any details before Abi gets back on Monday, when one of us will let you know. You don't need to be hugely artistic to make a name badge, mine are always a bit pants, and a simply handwritten name will do the job just as well. I'd suggest that you ask someone to make it for you who is a bit creative.

Mina can just get away with a pair of handcuffs strapped across her chest, she doesn't have to be creative

I'll be wearing a badge, but I'm not hard to spot anyway. Just look for the overconfident Irish guy with the beard.

Yay! It'll be nice to see you again Gnomon. FABT said she'd love to come, but she won't be able to make it again - too far to travel and too little money and time in which to do it.
I need to think up a namebadge design... I don't have my hat with me this time.

Mmm... so I need to make a badge then, are there guidelines or is it whatever take ones fancy?

You won't be able to miss me I'll be the one wearing a denim jacket with about 30 badges on it (one says Save Haslar Hospital that'll give you an extra clue)and a pic of a London bus on the back, I'm strange but then aren't we all in some way or another.
