Note to Paladin: Marvellous guide entry on the downfall of the South Downs ecosystem. Thoroughly researched, beautifully written and a pleasure to read. My only concern is those Minotaur Beetles. How big are they? Are they as dangerous as the name suggests? Can they be eradicated with, for the sake of arguement, imported viruses?

Your mad highness:You could easily step on and squish a minotaur beetle so there is no need to worry,unless of course you run around on the Downs in bare feet and step in some dung then fall asleep without cleaning your feet or covering them up.They might wander over and try to roll your toe away and you could end up with a slight nip or two.
