The requirement to request to become a leadership candidate, is just that you ask. However to actually become leader, you need to get enough votes from the members of Terrania.

I thought I heard a Thingite say Thday over in post 15... I hope I'm mistaken and it's my spy equippment that needs tweaking.
Here is my H2G2 pass, Terran. I will head up your campaign if you will run for president of the country named after you. Have a glass of ? I stole it from the BoE mini-bar, so... you know.

Sorry. I thought I had replied to you Jedi Female Apprentice (is there a short hand version of that?). Anyway I formally accept your application to this place. ... I wasn't actually stand for election, but I would have to give it some thought. But, yeah I'd love to have you, JFA (Jedi Female Apprentice), and YS as part of my campaign if I decide to run. Why not try running for the job yourselves?

Thank you Terrran. JFA would be fine to call me. I could run a campaign for advancement of astronautics (it has practically ground to a halt, I wonder what happened to the Skylon project), Real Ale, more Morse, more good Sci-fi on terrestial tv, a showing of Spike Milliagians Comedy series, A repeat of Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy, The end of the Energy Utilities monoplies.

Rivkeh Yankee-Shoes... bashing about the BoE again Posted Oct 9, 2002
I don't wanna be president, all the responsibility and bad press, and none of the power. ONLY IF Terran ISN'T running will I be spooks campaign manager. And you must promise to lay off the interns, okay?

In fairness of competition, I'm not running for leader, so I'll throw my support behind Spook.
Skullock : Welcome aboard
Inquisitor Jerrod : Ok.
So as I understand it so far we have Spook, I. Jerrod, and JJ running. Correct me anyone if I'm wrong.

Can I be near the top of power: plotting to overthrow it, but never quite managing it?
