pity i'm not in until 5pm on monday... [gonna work out how to get an earlier bus back me thinks...]

as for the french phrases above... err unless you want to impersonate del boy i don't really see how you could throw them in a conversation... hehe...

but yes i will make up a list of useful sentences and expressions... unless it has already been done on here... you would be surprised at the amount of entries about france and the french language on h2g2... worth having a look... some of the researchers who wrote them are british but live in france... and they sure know their subjects...

anyway have a look... type french in the search box and you should be spoiled for choice...

i wasnt putting up with orange man saying things like that about anyone even if it was about someone i didnt know i still wud hav said something. i didnt put this in my quote to go in on monday but he didnt mind u saying u came from essex did he and uv mentioned that a few times. sounds like hes jealous of u. ppl can be like that and just attack. i shant be around either on mon cus thats the day i take my gf out al day and wont be back til 7pm. i wont be online til 11pm so i wont even hav chance to reply to him if he has already. i also did a quote about my fav loup quote of all time LOL it will be in on monday! ull hav to wait n see which one i liked the most! it was quite a serious quote but it was the way u put someone down to size i found it hilarious LOL

RE pay per play games...

my advice is steer well clear of them. i made the wrong chice in paying 60p for a 'game' on 2-way tv and it lasted all of 2 mins and it wasnt exactly enjoyable.

just doing my maths here if u play two games of 50p each per day for a month it will cost you £28 PER MONTH!! and u dont even own the game for that much money LOL i think ill stick to my gameboy advance. i know theyre expensive for wot they are but at least i can play the games wenever i feel like it and know i dont hav to pay for them as well. get more enjoyment out of them too.

really cant see this pay per play idea catching on. we ought to report them to the police cus its daylight robbery LOL a comlete waste of out time n money.

pay per play... hehe.. had a surprise when one of my daughters accessed playjam or one of the games sites...
twas not too bad and it was not entirely her fault... it was actually not that clear that playing the game would cost money...
and yes she got bored very quickly with it...

as for the "orange" man... i do wonder tho'... must have been something i said... hehe...
i wonder which quote you mean... i had my share of cyberfights on LD since i started to quote in the pol room...
never started any of them tho'... i'm basically a good boy...

the only time i've been really proud of france and said it openly on LD was when french people came back to their senses and voted against le pen... could be what annoyed tangerineman... still that was ages ago... the same with when i started to quote... france was mentioned and obviously i replied... oh doesn't matter really... i just wish they used their usual username when they try it on... i'm always conscious that it might be the same arguement with the same person all over again but never can be sure...

oh well will see how things go on monday... should be fun... i gave him a chance to stop this sillyness before it's too late for him and he gets completly humiliated... [not in so many words...] hopefully he will agree... it's up to him now...

i dont understand why ppl want to carry on the same discussion months after it has all finished. if it was still going on fair enough i could understand that but bringing it up again after so long? wot is the point? its old news! its only gonna put ppls backs up and like i said in my quote they picked the wrong room to do it in. im quite surprised that my quote actualy was accepted. ill look forward to reading yours LOL

Last week the quotes were updated on Saturday so they could be updated today as well so I shall pop into ld round about lunch time and have a look just in case.I added to what was said in pol room,most of it you already know loup but for the benefit of the ignorant orange I repeated it.I look forward to seeing your replies.

About loup's orange friend: I don't think this is the best place to discuss it, as this person sounds as though they are quite familiar with h2g2 and you wouldn't want to give them any satisfaction whatsoever

yes i can understand wot ur saying about not discussing things on here cus of lack of privacy but the things im saying is all the truth, sumthin which orangeman doesnt know the meaning of. if he/she wants to hav a go at me for discussing him/her then they can do so whether its in here or LD. iv not got anything to be ashamed of. if i was saying lies and other things which they hav said about loup then i wud be as bad as they are but im only telling the truth. as the saying goes truth hurts but if they cant take a bit of flak for wot they said then they shouldnt hav put quotes in there in the first place. i rest my case!
