I was looking at the previous postings in the poltical chat room and you said you did not want to become a grandparent before 52 and that would mean that your oldest child would have to wait until 32 to become a parent. I do not know if you know but womens chance of having children decreases once she reaches the age of 26 and at the age of 30 well it goes down verq quickly. I would love to have children but I am 39. I hope you are not exerting too much pressure on your children to make sure they do not make a grandparent. By the way please tell me what is your real name, my name is Katrine. I do not know what the real names of Kow, Romani, Loup and co are please will you tell me. Being a grandparent before 52 does not make you old. Think of those sweet little angles smiling, gurgling in a foreign language. My neices gurgled in Polish, German, Yiddish, Ivrit, and Arabic. Well thats what it sounded like to me. I am sorry if I sound rather serious but I do not like to think your children wont have children incase it upsets you. You do not know what you are missing, I am age 39 and I have two teenage neices age 19 and 14 and it does not make me feel old being an aunt. Katrine

Morning Katrine,

Although I say I don't want to be a grandmother until I'm in my 50's If they occur before thats fine smiley - laugh
As for pressure on my kids there is none. The older ones ie.the 18 and 16 yr olds virtually take care of themselves and do what they want within certain boundary's that is.I know I will be a grandmother way before then as its one word from mother and its do as you like. But you should also consider that I am younger than you,I'm only 36 and I have 6 children. The 3 eldest are all girls so I may have some grey hair at the momment but within a few years I'll be totally grey, well white anyway as its not that horrible grey colour.
My name is Avril by the way and as for the rest if you ask them they should tell you.
But overall if you consider that I was 17/18 when I had my first one the chances of me being a grandmother in the next couple of years are very high.
But it means they will also have a very young Aunt as my youngest will be 9 months old tomorrow.

Good Morning Avril.

I am sorrying if I sounded rude Avril, I am 39 and I am having problems dropping hints to a young man I write asking him to further our relationship, ie visit him and get to know him better. I am also at that time of the month when I get very broody. I love children and I did quite a lot of long term babysitting with my oldest neice Sarah while her mother was at work which I enjoyed alot and i also baby sitted my neice as well when my sister had to go to work. I am very good with children as when I go shopping if a toddler cries and I smile at them they stop crying. I am very young looking for my age. I wonder if going grey is inherited as my father knew a family called Whites who all the children where had white hair before they were 30. How is
youngest? I am sorry if I offended you in any way. Kiss your youngest for me.

My youngest is called Jarna the J is pronounced as a y.She's gone for her morning nap as we are usually up quite early. My Dad is now in his 60s and only just started going grey, well his are silver smiley - laugh as to my mum I don't know as she died when I was 9 and my nan and grandad have also passed,so there is no way I can find out about my mothers side of the family.
I don't mind the white bits I just wish they would appear all in one place instead of a bit here and a bit there. My sister is two years older than me and she hasn't got any but there again she hasn't got kids either and yes I have been mistaken for her mother, which she doesn't let me forget smiley - laughSo I just remind her of a few jokes I played on her as kids and she shuts up lol or another way to deal with it is to say they are natural highlights smiley - laugh people pay a fortune for those at the hairdresser's.
Its a joke within the family that the grandkids will end up going to school with their Aunts.I can just see them in the playground smiley - laugh that could be funny.
No offence taken hun as I know my sister goes through the broody stages and such.
Don't forget though if you do me this fella, then meet in a public place first such as a pub, restaurant or something like that.
Have funsmiley - smiley

Thank you Avril for the helpful information and advice. I have delly belly and I keep on thinking I am going to see Hughee and Ralph but don't just feel sick.

My parents are in their seventies and eighties. I had a few grey hairs a few years ago but that's all, it was when I as living in Ashington, which like I live now rather a strange place, people are starting to get drunk at 4pm coming out of the pubs.

I am deeply sorry about you losing your mother at such a young age, my father lost both parents about 1 year apart when he was 14.

Thanks again for the advice on meeting my penpal.
