Thanks for this lovely picture and good definition of this creature's evolutionary status. I hope they manage to save it. Does it have litters often like rabbits?

Willem, Elektra really liked this picture. She saw it early this morning, and then she fell asleep and dreamt that she was trying to get Clancy (our huge, red cat) to stop chasing it. smiley - rofl

Hello Elektra and Dmitri! Thanks for you comments. Elektra, I put it in the article ... Riverine rabbits have small and infrequent litters, unlike 'regular' rabbits!

Dmitri, thanks for telling me my picture inspired Elektra's dreams! That's a first for me ... I wonder how many artists it happens to? smiley - smiley

Amazing drawing! hey Willem, thanks. I want it to hop into my dreams now, like what Elektra had. smiley - rofl That would be extraordinary, to have the works of artists appearing in dreams. Hmm. I bet it won't appear, when invited. Dreams are funny like that, I think. At least mine are. hmm

I often have amazing works of art in my dreams ... but it's all dream-art with nothing corresponding in the real world. I often wish I could clearly remember them because in the dreams they are so beautiful!
