Hi Jedi Woman,
There is an Edited entry on Relaxation - <./>A179462</.>, although it's a bit sparse, so perhaps it needs updating. This information would fit neatly into it. I'm not sure whether the original author is still around. I suggest you check.
Your entry is also a bit sparse. Have a look at </.>A769755<./> Yoga Nidra, which covers a similar topic.

I will be adding some more to cover other aspects of stress control, this is the first time I have done this so I did not know how much I should be putting in my posting.

I have changed my posting.
It not only covers basic relaxation technique but a few samples of natural remedies for stress control. I had to end where I did as I could add any more to the entry as I am not on a computer but I am a digibox user. It has taken a very long time to type the article as I am not using a computer. I cannot access spelling, grammar or punctuation help, so I have to use a dictionary. Please read this articel again, this is to inroduce people to the various types of stress control and help for stress related illnesses. Did you know most illnesses even arthitis is made worse or could be caused through stress!

I suspect that the title may now need to be changed as you have introduced other elements in it.
Your body is a reflection of your history and your state of being. What you are now reflects how you were thinking in times past. What you will be is affected by what you are thinking now.
Things like back pain and arthritis can be excacerbated by stress. Arthritis is particularly affected by diet too.
This topic would be a great one for a collaborative entry. I think you'd have to put it in the Collaborative Workshop for that - I'm sure the results would be worthwhile.

I think you forgot that I am limited to the amount I can put in the posting due to the fact I am webtv user. As cannot put any more in, I have tried. The only thing I can do is delete some of the text and change.

The posting relaxation techniques has been renamed: STRESS CONTROL. I am having great problems in editing this posting. It takes alot longer for me as I am webtv user and not a pc user. I do not have the facilities that pc user has and therefore I can put more of the personal details in as I am very limited to the amount of space I can use. I also have to put with my cursor coming out the box frequently and having to find my place again and that I get alot of unwanted spaces which I have to deal with. When I dealt with that I then find the data on how I deal with stress at the bottom of the page disappears and I have to rewrite it again, and that is every time, I edit my page, at least 10 times. It takes ages to edit because I have more problems than pc users and this is greatly slowlying me down. The GuideML systems is useless as I cannot see the advantage. I get no help from this system in editing the article. Now you wonder why get so little contribution from webtvusers because they lack the facilities that pc users have. Webtvusers should be given allowances for the difficulties they have which are not their fault and be encouraged for the efforts they make. I would like encouragement as it is very disheartening to be constantly critised all the time especially when you consider alll the problems I have to overcome writing the stress control posting. You probably do not realisze the difficulties I have had to overcome and I feel that I have been unfairly treated just because of the lack of facilities I have at my disposal. I find that pc users have the unfair advantage as they are more facilities at their disposal and therefore more likely to be acc
epted by the peer review. I am very sorry I am angry but I feel you have not made any allowances to the fact I am webtvuser.

Hey, don't get angry! I'm sure that ZSF meant well... there's no need to get with her! It's not her fault that H2G2 and Peer Review are PC-orientated... she's not the one who *made* the site like that
Is there any way in which you could get to a PC to edit your Entry? I know that H2G2 is very PC-orientated, and using a PC would be easier, but don't fret or get annoyed!
One way around this would be to get somebody else to start a Collaborative Entry on this topic in the Collaborative Writing Workshop here: Writing-Collaborative and tell that Researcher in a Conversation or such what goes in the Entry so they can edit it for you and then go in Peer Review. I know it's a pain having to do it this way but it seems that you are having problems with doing the editing and additions and this would be a way out.
Don't get stressed over it... you aren't the only webTV user on H2G2
Don't be disheartened by my comments!

I am very sorry and whole heartedly appoligize for my angry outbursts. I have not got a pc and the only pc would have to be booked at Grays Library and as a carer looking after two elderly parents and my disabled sister time is at premiumn. I will go to the colabritive workshop. I thought the comments were a way of saying your posting is not good enough and cannot be recommended by the peer group. It took me over a week to write the posting and if had a pc it would only take a day. I am very sorry for angry outbursts but it is that I feel that my time and efforts have been wasted as all get is negative feedback. I hope someone will help me to edit to pc standards. I do not know how to find the collabritive writing workshop. Will you please tell me where can I find it. I am again very sorry if I appeared touchy it is that my self-confidence is very low at the moment and it would it be very nice if I was complemented on what I have done and the effort that I put into this posting bearing in mind all the difficulties I have faced and that I have acheived something.

Hey, actually getting an Entry into Peer Review is an achievement
Okay, I'm not sure how webTV works with this so I'll just have to go about it the PC way...
First, you will have to remove this Entry from Peer Review. To do this, you go to the main PeerReview page, scroll down until you find your Entry. You will see a little link that says 'Remove'. Click that and your Entry will be removed from Peer Review.
Next, you go back to your Entry and click the 'Submit for Review' button, like you did for submitting it to Peer Review, except this time, you choose Collaborative Writing Workshop. When you put it in the Collaborative Writing Workshop, make sure that you specify that you require somebody to copy this Entry and re-submit it under their name with you credited so it can be edited and altered quickly and concisely as you are a webTV user.
I think that's it!
Good luck!

You cannot use the "remove" link because of a javascript popup problem. Give me a minute and I'll post a link you can use. I just have to figure out how to do it again.

I'll work on providing a link to submit the article to the Collaborative Writing Workshop but you might want to hold back on that one while we all consider where the best place is for this article.

Having read the related thread F28171?thread=211961 I would sy leave it here.
A quick overview of what I said in the other thread:
You are going get two types of comment in PeerReview
1: Suggestions about content: It is up to you to evaluate these and incorporate them as you feel appropriate.
2: Suggestions that you use GuideML (A264520) to improve layout: While Scouts do prefer entries that are in GuideML (because it should hopefully make life easier for the <./>Subeditors</.> it is not essential, just concentrate on your content.
---
you could do the article accross two pages if your running out of space.
Put part one in Peer review and put a link to part two at the bottom of part one explaining that your a webTV user and are limited to how much you can put on one page.
---
Goodluck

Hi Jedi Woman!
I'm really sorry that you got upset; I had no intentions of disparaging your entry and I was trying to be helpful. I have no idea of what it's like on webtv, although I now understand that it makes life difficult. I don't think anyone suggested your entry should be thrown out of PR, though!
This is a topic where there is bound to be a lot to say and I'm sure that other researchers will have suggestions for additions and there will no doubt be links that it would be nice to make with the entry.

I cannot understand the GuideMl system I have tried to use but there are far too many codes and I do not know which ones to use. The guidance that is given just confuses more. The codes, so many of them and it was not as complicated as this when I went to wordprocessing classes or desk top publishing it was so straight forward. Will you please help me to understand the codes and which ones should I use for the posting. I have now deleted my entry from the peer forum as suggested earlier on.

The really useful ones are:
Type header here
Type paragraph here - you'll get a space both in front of and below these markings and you need to do one for each paragraph
You could probably do a complete entry just using these. For each bit of GuideML you use, you need a corresponding one to turn it off.
So, Type subheader here this last bit turns it off.
You don't need to do this in the overall title for the entry, though.
If you need anything fancier, like links, just ask.

As this is used on a tv I am limited to the time I can be on it. I find very frustrating to keep on remebering put these codes in . Thank you for explaining to them, I think the last time I used this was at college and it was explained at lot clearer than the the GuideMl clinic does. It should explain in stages and not just give alot of codes. I have added more personal information and more to the type of stress control. I will go back to GuideML when I have the time. I dp npt want to do anything too complicated as I cannot stay on here very long as this is used vi a tv. Thank you for your help.
