She could have a point... Plus the fact that, at least for those of us caravanning from here, it's about a 4 hour trip--longer if we hit traffic wrong--and chips or soda would be about the safest things... Of course, having tons of pizza delivered would work fine

And since the original post that started this conversation was posted by me very near the end of the last page, I'll paste in the topic...

I was wondering just how many folks Neugen will have camping on her land (and likely the thought has crossed her mind as well ) I know some of the folks signed up are fairly local to Gilroy, but I don't see much of a reason to expect them to try to find us at the festival. Not that we've discussed which day of the festival we're going to, or what time we're going to get there...

My own thought was that maybe we could make our various ways to Neugen's on the 25th, arriving whenever we get there (though if possible, dinner together would be ), go somewhere for breakfast the morning of the 26th, and arrive at the festival in the late morning/early afternoon?

I just feel funny making the decisions unilaterally--especially since, because of the timing, I don't even know if we're coming! And won't until nearly time...

Well,it`s been 2 mths.,but I thought I`d throw in that there`s a 'Safeway' store& a coffee-shop & a *cool* pizza place ~ 1 mile fr. my home.oh,also a laundrymat,a pet-grooming store & other shops I haven`t checked out in said spot-a video store,a Wash. Mutual branch,ie.civilization lurks just around the hill fr.us.Also a Buddist temple en route fr.Safeway to house.My road`s unpaved,there`re Redwoods everywhere,oh-& dogs,cats ,a peacock named Max,Llamas,goats,birds-well you get the picture;country ~ a mile fr. all the amenities one could need...N

Neugen, That is excellent news. ALways good to have the bare necesities close to hand.

Again with plans... I guess that all depends on the time available to everyone to determine what we should do as a group.

I have a wedding of an old friend that weekend to attend. I really wanted to go, and I was making plans for hte trip already, but had to cut those plans short.

OK, I'll update as soon as I have time, or when the home phoneline is working again... *mutters about having dial-up and no dial tone*
