Hey,
here is the first attempt at an entry for a great band. If you have heard of them, I would appreciate any input for possible inclusion. Also any other feed back would be super.
thanks

YES!!!! Somebody is writing about Ween!!!!
Icnavagata, Rocky, whatever the hell you're called: may the Boognish rain strange blessings upon you; you are the Stallion, mang!
Let's see now, feedback.... hmm.
One quickie - you seem to know some HTML. Have you checked out GuideML, which is H2G2's simplified markup language? It's not terribly important whether you do that; once this is put through Peer Review and picked for inclusion in the Edited Guide (which it will be ), it'll be sent to a Subeditor, who'll know GuideML like Fat Lenny knows brain-licking, and they'll redo the markup. I'm one of those, actually.
There's a page somewhere called the GuideML Clinic which tells you everything about it.
Uh, onto the content. Did I mention thanks for writing this? Ok, there should be a bit more explanation about... not so much the sound, but the themes dealt with in their songs. Maybe just a warning, that they tend to write songs that are somewhat shocking. They're not for the faint-hearted. Not everyone can handle The HIV Song, or LMLYP, or Mourning Glory, or... you get the idea.
I might mention the Pod (the commune, not just the album), and maybe something about Boognish. Those are sort of parts of the mythology. But I dunno, maybe it's better to let people figure that out on their own.
It's probably worth naming some of the notable side-projects - I'm thinking of Z-Rock Hawaii (Gener and Deaner, Andrew Weiss, and the Boredoms) and The Moistboyz (Deaner with Guy Heller, aka Mickey and Dickie Moist)
Do you have a favourite album/song? I'm currently rather hypnotized by Demon Sweat, but that's prone to changing. Mutilated Lips and Wayne's Pet Youngin' are also perennial faves.
Thanks again for this entry. It's a really good summary of the band, which is an impressive thing to pull off!

hey gtb,
thanks for the input. there's so much to say about Ween, that i figured it was best to be breif and let anyone who is interested go and find out for themselves.
You're right, there should be something about the mysterious side of ween. ie, the boognish, the stallion, what in the world Deaner was talking about. Im working on that.
I think my favorite album is The Pod. The sound is so unique, i've never heard anything like it.
thanks man
