Oh well. Can we get this vote over and done with then. I vote yes, I should take Pinky out to dinner.

Ask Pinky.
Future points to raise:
1. What will we eat?
2. What will I wear? (Pinky is wearing her new Party Dress)
3. How much will I pay?
4. How much will I tip?
5. How long will dinner last?
The list could go on. And on. And on. And on. Ad nauseum.

Do what? Have dinner with a friend, or wrangle a quick answer out of a generally avoidant person?

Sorry about that - the sporran came into season and I had to take it down to the games room and deal it.
Now - where were we - Oh yes.
The party should be on August 22nd which will be our 5th anniversary.

Pinky Posted May 17, 2007
You were establishing the anniversary party McKay,while the rest of us were voting as to whether or not I go to dinner with Aries !! Bike shed ? Cupboard under the stairs ? Am I allowed to vote on this matter please ?? (Visions of the scene from Lady and the Tramp, eating spaghetti and meat balls in some back alley somewhere runs through my head )*Pinky sings.... This is night it's a beautiful night and they call it bella notte..la lalala la la lalalalallala

The Bike shed? And it was already decided that we are going for dinner as laid out in this Document "Who wants to be on the committee?" subsection 2601, It was officially decided upon by suitable persons that the aforementioned dinner would take place, and by virtue of subsequent postings it was established that this committee should be called to vote upon the above mentioned points.
How official did *that* sound! Wow, I've impressed myself.

And me,I'm impressed ! Does this mean I'm not allowed to vote ? (EVEN though I AM wearing my new party dress ?)

I don't mind! Mr Chairthingy?
My personal preferences are:
1. Spaghetti (On two separate dishes )
2. A suit, or a hoody, you choose
3. About £4 a dish
4. None, unless we get free napkins
5. Until we have finished eating.

Pinky Posted May 17, 2007
It all sounds good to me,a hoody would be fine (I wouldn't want you sweating all night wearing a suit would I ??? )4 pounds for a meal though ? Don't you think thats just a little tad expensive ? Are we going Dutch ?
Who wants to be on the committee?
Aries (ACE) Posted May 17, 2007
Well I don't know, £4 is how much I pay for takeaway spaghetti. And seeing as I won't be giving a tip.
Dutch? If you insist, and I mean really insist.
Who wants to be on the committee?
Pinky Posted May 17, 2007
I insist ,I couldn't possibly hear of you paying out such huge amounts of money on a very first dinner date ! As for a tip,I can give you a tip ,if you'd like one ? No problem at all.
Who wants to be on the committee?
Aries (ACE) Posted May 17, 2007
Well, you don't have to hear of it. I'll just pay it and not tell you. A tip? Hmm, I'm listening...
Who wants to be on the committee?
Pinky Posted May 17, 2007
Really, there's no need ,I can pay !! OK tip.....NEVER take a lady out on a first date to eat spaghetti, quite apart from the awful noise it makes as you suck that last little part into your mouth, the untold mess it makes on a new party dress is awsome ..Penne pasta is much more maangeable,or even cannelloni (Personally,I really don't mind,I love spaghetti, this information is for any future encounters you may have.I care)

Hi Guys and Guyesses - how will you cope with being the centre of interest for all these members looking on as you scoff? It would put me off. We could order screens and keep out of the committee room for a set period. Won't there have to be a vote?
Who wants to be on the committee?
Aries (ACE) Posted May 17, 2007
Well I thought there was going to be a vote. And anyway, I know there is a certain period of the day when you guys log off and leave just me and Pinky. I'm pretty sneaky like that.

Bernadette Lynn_ Home Educator Posted May 17, 2007
I never log off. You just don't notice I'm here, which is a slightly different thing.
