Nice entry - certainly has potential.
You might like to consider re-designing the entry to read as a narrative rather than just a list of bulleted entries. This could give you the opportunity to flesh it out with loads more information.
For instance, you mention that Everton have won 9 Top Flight Titles. A list of those titles with dates would be useful.
You also mention that Everton are called The Toffees. An explanation of why could be useful. There are probabably not many people reading this will have heard of Everton Toffee.

Hi Terran,
It would be great to see an entry on Everton FC in the guide! However, I think that this needs a bit of work. If you follow the link to my personal space, you'll see a link to the writing guidelines, and these require that guide entries be neutral, and be about reality (ie without references to imaginary galactic football teams). As an Evertonian myself ("Rooney for England!" - sorry....), I know it's difficult to be neutral about Everton.
For more info on Everton history, you might want to try
http://www.toffeeweb.com/history/index.asp where there's loads of info, which needs concise summerising!
If you're new to H2G2, you might want to check out A243677, where H2G2 footie fans hang out. There's also a link to the H2G2 score prediction league from my personl space.

Don't worry, I will make changes, I just need to think about it first. I'll leave it in the peer review, so that I should learn something.
Thanks Everyone by the way for all the comments so far.

Well, Terran, let's see some more work on this one, so this proud team can have their place in the EG

Will do. Sorry this one has become a bit neglected, I've been focusing on my bookcase article (A810055). And RL has been catching up with me

Ahhh.... This could be huge, I've done a fair bit to this, but maybe I need an opinion of what is there so far (ignore the statistics bit at the bottom).

looks good at the moment. just a couple of comments:
1. more info on legends and stuff would be nice, as there isn't anything really there yet, although i guess u will add stuff there after a few comments, and
2. remove the bullet point 'Did I mention Everton are very good?' from the bottom, as, for one, it is written in the first person and is an opinion and they are not allowed in the edited guide, but even more, Everton are not good, they are rubbish (no offense to everton supporters).

You don't need to do an introduction to football really but a link to http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/A138368 - the EG entry for football - would be useful.

What might be interesting is to point out what has happened to the team over the years, for example a mention of Everton and Liverpool being the dominant sides in the 1980s, a look at other great everton sides (eg 60s and 30s), the legends could be expanded- Southall, Young, Kendall etc.

I heard a statistic that goes something like "Everton hold the record for the most FA Cup semi-Final appearances". Is it true?

The Legends (plural) only has one entry in it! That just shows how rubbish they are.
Wasn't 'the boy Line-Acre dun good' at Everton?

Lineker played for us in the 1985-86 season, and was our top scorer. However, we didn't win anything that year, when we had for two years beforehand, and then again the year after.

He was close to beating Dixie Dean's record I think. I know someone was and npw suppose it must've be Lineker.
