What a relief to hear that the true joy of jumpin-and-spinnin is finally out of the closet. Ever since I saw Julie Andrews doing it on a mountain top, in a nun's habit during the opening sequences of the Sound of Music, I have been afraid of being misunderstood.
For years, I have been restraining my impulse to tilt and twirl in the open spaces of this wonderful world and it just hasn't been the same behind closed doors out of sight of the great unwashed public. Damn ceilings get in the way.
Thank you.
