certainly not! Beer is mainly meant to have a social function, be a focus point for groups of alike minds and persons, secondly it is meant to be enjoyed for its taste. Mind you if properly brewed it is a symphony of barly, malt, hop, an ode to mother nature if you like, composed by craftmanship.

by the way, it's not easy to get a 500 kg dinosaur drunk on beer
