I'm panicking here.

The srh server appears to be down, so we can't get onto the RB forums, or the mfr ones, either. I've mailed the webmaster, so has Bev, but we've had no word so far.

Bev's travelling home at the moment, so she'll be stressed to the max in case it's not sorted by the time she gets home.

Any suggestions as to how to get my blood pressure back to within the normal range while I wait for this to be resolved?

(To the uninitiated, this is what it means to be a net junkie!)

I'll go and have a lie down while I wait.

OK, I contacted (well, annoyed) both the forum assistant moderator and the webmaster and apparently it is a telephone problem which may not be fixed until tomorrow.

Obviously my life is in tatters and I am frantically searching the net (whilst trying to eat a PC dinner) to find a forum for us all tonight!!!

I am President, I will get this sorted, netjunkies!!

I am trying to get everyone to but Pootle has lost her password!

I hope we have a long time before we have another panic like that.

Maybe this is the time to draw up an action plan for just such an eventuality, though.

Any suggestions welcome as to where we can go if our usual haunts aren't well.

Oh, and by the way, tattoo Pootle's password under her eyelids, so that she doesn't forget it again!

I hope no-one's getting complacent here.

This panic could occur again at any time.

Action plans should be a priority to avoid any recurrence of mass hysteria.
