Clapclapclap!!!
I gave you your own table and top billing on my u page.
Lost at sea, huh? You never gave Elmira's name in the first part of the story, so I had a little fun with the idea that Eldridge was 2 timing her with his soggy lost love.
Bravo!!!

Thanks, Ex-Rambling.
I've added quite a bit more just now.
You'll love the artistic toads that
"handpaint" dinnerware. (Heck, some real
dinnerware looks as if toads were responsible
).
Bravo!!!

Bravo, Percival!
I hope you're to expand on the mutant toads theme.
They've got to be smarter than most of the human
characters in this story!
Bravo!!!

Paul is right on this one, Percy.
Maybe you could have Elmira and Eldridge
on their honeymoon on an ocean cruise.
They see what they *think* is another
friendly whale, but it turns out to be
a giant mutant toad that eats them up.
That would be so .

Ah, love is in bloom! Mom says that babbette's kitchen sounds a little like Nancy would like it there.
Bravo!!!
Fluffy Pink Rabbit Posted Jul 4, 2002
We'll have to ask Nancy to read it sometime,
then.
The final chapter, where all the loose ends
get tied up (no pun intended), is finished,
so you can at least find out how the lovers
are reunited for their moment of ecstacy.
There's a missing chapter, but I hope it
will turn up some day.
Bravo!!!

No Chapter six?? And, the Mutant Toads turn out to be an Uncle in disguise??? And, a fade to black just before the steamy Love scene????
Actually clever, and fun. Besides, the steamy love scene would probably have fogged up my p.c. monitor, anyway.
So, we leave Elmira and what's his name making babies, and Babbette having already made one. What's the sequel gonna be called, "Son of
The Great American Novel?
Will Harry ever find true love?
And, how, exactly, do you "brew" a pot of Vanilla Coke?
I loved this, Paul. You ought to submit it to
http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/A294833 h2g2 fiction central
(And, there's no "Classic" in that address)
Bravo!!!

I loved it too, Ex-Rambling.
I'll have to bring your comments to
Percival's attention.
Harry and Alonso *did* find true love--with
each other. This is not as strange as
Uncle Haronymus's love for toads (what does
he do with them, anyway, once they've
finished hand-painting his dinnerware? ?)
Ah, and finally there's the heath, wild and
untamed, and a good place for the toads to
escape from Uncle Hyroniemus in.
Bravo!!!

Glad you liked it, Ex-Rambling and Paul
and Vulpix.
Pretty soon I can join the ranks of Jackie
Collins and Danielle Steel and Nicholas Sparks.
All that remains is a little polishing,
and finding that missing chapter.
I can hardly wait to start my next magnum opus.
