Well done.
I wonder if you pulled your punches at the end...? I was expecting more of a knockout ..but then, one doesn't want to be too nasty, does one? They are watching!
Anyhoo... if you have no other plans for this, I'd love to include a link to it in a future issue of AggGag. It's exactly what we are about! <./>agggag</.>

I'd be honoured
Yes, I admit... I pulled my punches.
despite being here 3 years I feel rather newbie-ish so... I didn't want to rock the boat.
I'm so pleased you enjoyed it.
Touched,
Kate

I'm delighted! Just want to be sure that U170904 gets his proper credit as he suggested the story, and helped with the description of Rumplemoderator ... Can't wait to get this week's post, as usual.
ingly,
Kate

Truth to tell (and I always tells the truth!) I did ask if there were 'other' plans for it, because it struck me as so well written and illustrated that it might well have been commissioned by the Post.
I was surprised and delighted to acquire permission to use it but I am now also going to suggest that Greebs give it some other direct promotion on the Front Page of this week's Post.
It deserves to be read, and in this time of anti-establishment fervor (concerning the new 'english only edicts'), a little poking of fun at the system will go a long way to restoring a smile on many researchers faces.
Not everyone reads AggGag (we actually scooped 'h2g2 jargon' two weeks before the Post featured it as 'news'), so I really hope Greebs will take my suggestion and promote another link to it somehow. All researchers deserve a chance to have something this much fun to read.

My head might not fit throught the door much longer
Thank you both for the high praise. I'm touched... you might regret it once I start submitting things every week for the Post

Which other stories shall we parody? Possibilities are endless, as I have a collection of faery tales from around the world.

Well I got a moment of inspiration tonight and dashed off A775019 which is another spoof adaptation. Too much fun, parodies.
And what a great sendup the wonderful Greebs gave us
in case she wanders by

Nice Malkovitch piece. Try to find more graphics for it.
Like I said before, I have a collection of tales that could be modified for h2g2, including things from Russia and Africa. Perhaps a variant of "Goso the Teacher" from Misoso, which is something like a "House that Jack Built" but with a plot.
Bravo!

I love it! And I am one of those who doesn't usually read this part - have become a Quest addict. Consider me a convert!
Looking forward to many more.

I tried to go easy on the graphics, knowing firsthand the frustration of waiting for a page to load. Glad you liked it though
