Hi Snockerty Friddle,
Would you like to Join? If so I have a couple of questions for you.
1) Do you agree to the Rules of conduct?
2) Do you know the Rules?

id like to join. i once spent half an hour explaining the rules to someone whod never heard of the game, so i think i know the rules very well.

1)I do
2)I do
Bit rusty on some of the sub-clauses in the 1978 edition of the Rushton Compendium, but then who isn't?

I can honestly say that I do not believe that there is a single rule to this game with which I am not familiar. (Well, I'm not too clear on the role of Euston.)
How on earth did you spend half an hour explaining the rules to someone? Last time I tried it took all afternoon and they still weren't clear.

I tend to get hazy on any rules instigated after the Grand Conference at Versaille but would love to join in an attempt to bring my play more up to date.

I'd like to join! I'm familiar with the rules and i agree to the code of conduct- as long as we don't have to play the swedenborg variation. i did once and i was sick afterwards.

Hi Moonglum!
Can I join?
In answer to your questions...
I agree to the rules of conduct. Clearly it would be unadvisable to play MC for money, but moving to Bank is still an option, I presume? Assuming that the clockwise-Ravenalli is allowed?
I know most of the rules. I'm a little hazy about some of the pre 1965 amendments to the diving and simulation rule, but I'm sure I'll pick that up as we go along....

Ok so we're all agreed on the foolhardiness of playing MC for money but where does everyone stand on the Milligan Metro version where the winner gets to keep the ticket stubs from the entire game and can use them in future games in order to shunt opponents onwards to closed stations with faulty escalators?
I know it's slightly more confusing than the regular game and it has on one or two occasions been necessary to invoke sub-section b of the Bakerloo Initiative in order to un-flip those unfamiliar with the intricacies of the Laws of Ffnrrkish Symmetry, but I know they still play that way on the District Line sometimes.
