Hi, welcome to h2g2.
I like the idea of this entry, as well as the bag one. Just the right style for the guide, but both probably need a bit more substance. There should be an option to put your entry in the 'writing workshop' when you submit for review.

Someone more expert than me will hopefully pass by, but I think you will need to remove the entry from PR, then re-submit & choose a different option.

I think the style and content of this are good, but it is a little bit short.

The collaborative writing workshop was disbanded years ago. The nearest we have is the Edited Guide Writing Workshop, but unfortunately, you won't get a lot of help there.

I find if you're looking for suggestions, the best place is Askh2g2. Leave this here in Peer Review for the moment, and ask a question at <./>Askh2g2</.> looking for suggestions on using rubber bands as a hitchhiker. Then after a few days, incorporate any suggestions into this entry. Make a note of who made the suggestions, and you can add them into this as a "Credit" at the end - Additional Research by Joe (or whoever).

There are already two good entries in which rubber bands feature extensively:

"Tensegrity" and "Elastic Band Warfare". There should be links to them from your entry. If you don't know how to do that, I can explain.

Sadly, it appears not.

I disagree with the suggestion to use rubber bands in hair. The nasty little things pull hair out. Only the ones that are wrapped in string or fabric can be used in hair without pulling.

This is halfway between being a simple humorous piece and being an actual entry. If you added some more about elastic bands (I'm sure Ask h2g2 would provide you with a long list of uses for the things) this would be a useful entry.

You can use them to make things that go "boink", for a start

I'll not put this on the list quite yet; of all Darren's submissions, it has the most potential. Feel like doing something with it, Darren?

Chain a bunch of them together and make a rubber band bungie, maybe.

Darren seems to have abandoned this Entry. I think it should revert to Entry. Any seconders?

If the author has abandoned it I'll lift it and try to run with it if no-one else is in the frame.
