Is it true that The Post will only be linked once a week, and no permanent link added to the FP?

Do you know how much time and effort the Post Team put into each issue?

For years Shazz struggled, alone, to keep the magazine going. It was only when illness caught up with Shazz that her plight became known, which caused a big change in readership attitude. For a time The Post went out fortnightly and then, more recently, it returned to its weekly issues.

The Post Team deserve better than a 'once a week' mention on the FP. Please keep the permanent link.

I agree. Please put a permanent link on the Front Page.

In case my request gets missed in the main feedback thread, I also agree.

Hi lil and all. Please don't worry about the absence of The Post on the new front page. We've earmarked a spot on the Main Promo Box to promote the latest issue. We've said 'at least once a week' for now but the likelihood is that it will be there a lot more often.

The Main Promo Box is incredibly flexible to manage - it's been designed that way - and what you see at the moment is static simply because we can't devote the time to changing it while we prepare the full version of the site. Nothing has been set in stone about it, we'll see how it works in practice when we're using it more. But in reality The Post will end up having a far greater prominance on the front page than it ever has before, when it features on the promo box. Traffic from the link as it currently stands on the front page is very low - the new promo should hopefully boost that (we've also had some natty branding designed for it, to go with our new designs.)

Hope that allays your fears somewhat.

I note that the Post back issues and the Post Office are also represented in the categories - maybe a permanent link to the *current* issue could go there as well?

Oh, cheers, Mala, I meant to check that but was too busy preparing Monday's issue. Good to know the Back issue links will still be there somewhere.
