A Conversation for h2g2 Read Only Beta

Don't Panic!

Perhaps this has already been mentioned, but . . .

I've just been re-reading things and I've gotten back to the actual Hitchhiker's Guide and I noticed this:

'. . . it scores over the older, more pedestrian work in two important respects.
First, it is slightly cheaper; and secondly it has the words DON'T PANIC inscribed in large friendly letters on its cover.'

I realize there's not much to be done about the cost to the individual user of consulting H2G2, but, would it be possible to somehow retain in perpetuity the DON'T PANIC which is currently on the beta Front Page, but, perhaps in more friendly letters?

The H2G2 Editors

Don't worry, anhaga - and, indeed, don't panic - those words are there to stay (and that button will be dotted around the site for the full version). We're slightly restricted on fonts in the new BBC web world, so those are the friendliest ones we could muster... smiley - ok

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
