Since there is such a lot of discussion on this subject, I have decided to try and create a description of a complete working system at A763418.
I know this jsut creates more to read, but if you read through this and point out any errors or omissions, I will try and incorporate them into the system, or incorporate an explanation of why they are not necessary. In this way, we can know that we are moving toward a solution.
I look forward to hearing your constructive criticisms,
[IMSoP]

Increase Mathers, you are a marvellous individual for doing that. I'll be looking at it after I've commented on Frankie's summary. Just been through it all and all the threads... Off I go to give my feedback on your feedback

There was certainly a LOT of discussion about all the ideas, with many different ideas being put forward. So good luck to you trying to put forward a coherant in-house proposal Anna!

I dunno, sometimes I log in and there's nothing happening (on my threads) so I don't do a lot. I drop into askh2g2 and PR quite a lot. And I do subbing of course.

I haven't really been involved with the virtual side of h2g2 at all, fun though it is...

Nor have I particularly. I like reading the entries, and I really ought to do some more writing now that I've got so much time on my hands.
By the way, I think you're the only italic I haven't actually met - are you going to the summer party?

Hi Frankie, Do you have any more interviews in the offing? I loved your articles by the way.

Thanks! Haven't got any plans for it at the moment. I was hoping to interview some more semi-famous people, but that never really came off.
Key: Complain about this post
