Reverend Lovejello (a.k.a. John Wesley Hardjello) Posted Jul 6, 2002
Oh, if all yer kin do is mumble yer prayers, then I ain't gots no use fer yer. I'm a gonna git that manual an that stone now, so I reckon I'll just head that'r way. Sure would hep if I knowed if thar was an ambush waitin' in the pass.
*Waits for a response from Jesse.*
Oh, what am I thinkin'! A course thar's a ambush in the pass. Thar's always a ambush in the pass. I best gets through afore they gets the posse.
Jello be with yer.
*Waves his hand haphazardly over Jesse, then trots off.*
The Corral
Jesse Jello Posted Jul 8, 2002
Wait, Reverend! If'n yer on the Jello's business, then I'll come and help yeh. I kin tell the boys at the pass to let yeh through.
*Jumps on his own horse and rides out behind the Reverend.*

An Earl Called Lucan-Jello Posted Jul 28, 2002
*a frightened and lathered horse carrying the bound Man Called Jello arrives at the corral*
The Corral
Sherry à la Gelée - Schoolmarm Extraordinaire Posted Jul 28, 2002
*Sherry leads her horse to the corral to have a drink and some hay*
*She sees the man tied up on the horse and approaches cautiously*
Sir? Excuse me, but is there a reason why yer tied up on this horse?
The Corral
An Earl Called Lucan-Jello Posted Jul 29, 2002
Well no good reason I can think of ma'am saving that my luck ran out at a most inopportune time and I appear to have fallen in with most unaccommodating lot. Tied me up they did, without a by or leave, and left me tied up slung over the back of this horse for several days now.
Being a refined lady of means, I'd have normally doffed my hat to you of course but it appears to have been sequestered by a particularly feisty member of the Posse . Oh and also because it's physically impossible in my present predicament. I do hope you understand and can forgive me my unavoidable lapse in manners.
I don't suppose you would care to help a chap out would you ?
The Corral
Sherry à la Gelée - Schoolmarm Extraordinaire Posted Jul 29, 2002
Several days? That, sir, is terrible. Ah won't take offense to your not having doffed your hat, don't worry yerself.
*Sherry unties him*
Feisty posse member? Ah don't know which one yer talkin' about, sir, but they sure were unhospitable when the Reverend and Ah rode through...
*Finishes untying AMCJ and takes his arm*
Can yew stand up?
The Corral
Munchkin Posted Jul 29, 2002
*Comes running up*
Ah, err umm. I say, Miss, I really wouldn't get too close to Lucers there, he's a bit of a bounder. Oh, and that is my horse he has.
The Corral
An Earl Called Lucan-Jello Posted Jul 29, 2002
Ah Munchers old chap ..... good to meet you in more hospitable circumstances at last. I jolly well apologise for leaving with the old horse here but he did seem quite determined to flee you know.
*looks around anxiously*
Those beastly chapesses aren't following you are they ?
The Corral
Munchkin Posted Jul 29, 2002
Ah, no, we seem to have become split up by that stampede. Now that you are more upright. I don't suppose you, ... oh wait a mo' dash it all, where are my manners! *To that lady* Good afternoon miss, Doctor A.R. Munchkin at your service. *Doffs AMCJ's bowler* Now then, where was I, oh yes, *To AMCJ* I don't suppose you feel predisposed to telling me where this church might be do you?
The Corral
An Earl Called Lucan-Jello Posted Jul 29, 2002
Well just between old school chums, mum's the word and all that , the bally church is up yonder in the ruins of the indian village.
I'd be rather careful though - lots of thoroughly bad chaps up there, all a strange shade of green for some unaccountable reason.
You wouldn't have a G'n'T on you would you. I'm terribly parched, what !
The Corral
Munchkin Posted Jul 29, 2002
You're parched? I've been riding for days, been shot at, even shot in the wallet, been chased by fire and cows, hassled by Gnus and had to wear a dashed silly looking handkercheif to keep the sun off. That being said *Extracts small flask from non shot through breast pocket* I always keep something for emergencies. *Takes quick swig. Offers to Miss Sherry first.* Miss?
Anyway, Indian Village you say, I *Hears noise and looks round to see the wooden tank thing emerging from the barn* Help ma boab! What on earth. May I suggest we continue this discussion somewhere less open?
The Corral
Sherry à la Gelée - Schoolmarm Extraordinaire Posted Jul 30, 2002
Sherry à la Gelée, sir, pleased ta meetcha. Thank yew kindly fer the offer, but Ah'm tryin' to stay away from the spirits.
*She moves closer to the horses for some cover*
There's a ruined Injun village, yew say? Well, Ah'll have to say well away from there. Thank yew fer the warnin.
The Corral
Munchkin Posted Jul 30, 2002
*Hands AMCJ the flask while trying to keep at least one horse between him and the wodden tank thing that came out of the barn* Here you go old boy. I wonder where that thing is heading, and where the rest of my group went?
The Corral
Munchkin Posted Jul 31, 2002
You can say that again, but it appears to have come a cropper of its own accord, so not to worry.
Well, I suppose I ought to think about investigating this here Indian village before I get involved in some fighting down here and entirely run out of ammunition. Every second counts as poor Lil could be in terrible danger if the rest of this trip is anything to go by.
Lucers, can I at least trust you to get the lady here out of harms way. Oh, and if you see any of my group would you be so kind as to tell them where I went?
The Corral
Munchkin Posted Aug 1, 2002
*Gets up on horse, checks rifle and heads off towards the Indian Village for a shufty*
The Corral
Sherry à la Gelée - Schoolmarm Extraordinaire Posted Aug 2, 2002
*Sherry watches Munchkin leave and ponders the best way to be rid of her escort*
*She smiles hesitantly at him*
Well, sir, Ah'm sure you're anxious to be on yer way...
