Falling, sailing to the ground,
Orange, yellow, red abound.
Laughing children play with conkers
In the leaves heaps dogs go bonkers
All prepare for winter now
Gradually the leaves turn brown
Empty trees without a crown.

Forlonly she looked out to sea
On her own she started to weep
Love was lost there, out in the deep
In her grief she quietly thought
Against what life to her had bought
Grief and despair, an empty stare
Everyone agreed, life was unfair.

Falling silently
On cold currents,
Leaves make a pile.
Innocents will play
Among the yellow and gold,
Gleefully laughing,
Enchanting childhood

Fridays – spent lounging in Gold Mohur bay,
Osmosis providing both coolth and shade,
Life in the tropics is under-rated,
If thirst is not kept well abated,
As the temperature soars to forty-five,
Getting cool means staying alive.
Eight cool beers and come what may.

Can I change the last line please?
Fridays – spent lounging in Gold Mohur bay,
Osmosis providing both coolth and shade,
Life in the tropics is under-rated,
If thirst is not kept well abated,
As the temperature soars to forty-five,
Getting cool means staying alive.
Eight Seera beers and come what may.
It's uncool to have too many cools

Fall comes late here,
Outside, half the trees are still well-covered.
Lazily, a few leaves meander groundward,
It's a long way down, they're taking their time.
Autumn hues? Well, not so much.
Green is still the colour of the day.
Eventually, they'll sneak and tumble, one night when you're not looking.
