I saw them at the match against Argentina.
An England flag with Barnsley F.C. on it. 
And I just showed a couple from Barnsley round my house...
Can't wait for Wednesday's match!

It is amazing what names you see on those flags. I saw a St George flag with 'Hereford United' on it during one game. From the Football Conference to the World Cup!
I'm looking forward to England v Nigeria too. Granny Weatherwax has very kindly promised to give me a 7am alarm call on Wednesday, so there's no danger of me missing it! There's good teamwork on h2g2!

Behind one of the goal during the Mexico Equador match I saw a great big St Georges flag with "HULL CITY" emblazened across it. English fans get everywhere. There's this one everton flag I keep on seeing...

I suggest that from now on, throughout this World Cup, we all remain on Improbable Flag Watch! If I see any more oddities, I'll certainly report them here!

Yeah, the Everton flag is just a white background with the Everton badge along with "Everton Football Club" or something.
I saw an England flag amongst the Sweden hordes during Sweden Nigeria. Which was kind of strange to see. There was also one around the half-way line for USA Portugal. The flag really stands out doesn't it?
I also saw a few when Argentina lost the other night.
Consider me on watch!

I did a flag count for the Spain v Ireland match, and all I can say is, the Irish diaspora has spread further than I first thought...
