The days the World Cup turned dayglo

I have to say that I am rather disturbed by the trend for dayglo strips in this World Cup. First Nigeria's lurid lime green, and now Belgium's dazzling orangey-red. I'm not sure whether the idea is to help the players see each other at a glance, or to give the opposition eye-strain. I do know that it's a bit much when you're watching one of the morning (UK time) kick-offs with a hangover!

The Belgian strip looks more orange to me (but that could be my TV). Perhaps they want to pretend they're Dutch? Certainly given that they've now scored twice, they're doing a terrible impression of being Belgian

South Korea's Red's pretty bright as well.
