The days the World Cup turned dayglo

I have to say that I am rather disturbed by the trend for dayglo strips in this World Cup. First Nigeria's lurid lime green, and now Belgium's dazzling orangey-red. I'm not sure whether the idea is to help the players see each other at a glance, or to give the opposition eye-strain. smiley - online2long I do know that it's a bit much when you're watching one of the morning (UK time) kick-offs with a hangover! smiley - hangover

The Belgian strip looks more orange to me (but that could be my TV). Perhaps they want to pretend they're Dutch? Certainly given that they've now scored twice, they're doing a terrible impression of being Belgian smiley - smiley
