Swiv - Wednesday morning if you have pictures, Wednesday evening if you don't
It was, as ever, a classic! A brilliant weeekend and great to meet some new faces and catch up with friends at the same time.

Wotcher. Yep, another fun day out, especially watching all those young things running around at softball and I agree that it certainly seemed easier to mingle, I gibbered like an idiot to lots of new people. Although next time I may bring waterproofs for the train home (a long and pink story hopefully to be volunteered to Shazz, if I get my finger out tonight).
Thank you
Toccata Posted Jul 22, 2002

I posted this to Ask H2G2 this morning but here seems a more appropriate place.
So here it is (with extras and corrections)
I didn't get to the park but I spent a couple of hours in the pub.
Just wanted to say a few things:
Thanks to Dr Vibenstein who not only ACEd me when I joined h2g2 but also welcomed me into the pub.
Thanks to Abi for looking after the missus while I was a complete b'stard. - oh and for saying "oh it's you" after reading my name badge.
Apologies to the missus for dragging her along while she is heavily pregnant - she spent the evening on the stairs.
Hello to the scottish bloke with the bushy red beard on our team - "the attack of the mutant killer melons" and apologies for not remembering your name - I didn't hear it and was too embarrased to ask for the third time.
I'll list the names that I can remember or heard at some point in the evening - you'll have to excuse me I have a very poor sense of hearing twinned with no memory for names - count a name listing as a hello.
Munchkin
DoctorGonzo
A girl called Ben
Ashley
Tinkerbell
DittyDitty[sp?] double d? - once again with the hearing
Mark Moxon
Peta
Big Bad Mr T
ermm.. I've run out of names that I can remember but I did meet more people. If you remember me - the portly fella in the stripy shirt (doesn't narrow it down really) can you put a message in my space U195006.
Like a hejit I didn't have a drink in hand for the toasts so here's one for absent friends.
Thanks once again.
Liam.
Thank you

Wow! The same post over in ask h2g2 proved to be a bit of a conversation killer. I got an 'actual reply'(tm)(c) to it this time. That'll teach me for posting to the wrong place. I forgot to mention - despite having two attempts - that I did enjoy the little time that I spent with you guys.
Cheers once again.
Liam.
Thank you

I'm still torn as to whether to get the yacht first or the car...
Thank you
Munchkin Posted Jul 22, 2002
*waves to SM* I remember talking to your wife, in a confused, why would someone be sitting on the stairs sort of way. Glad you enjoyed it.
Thank you
Jamie Posted Jul 22, 2002
