I'd agree with Moon Under Water and will see you there on the 19th....

...but I NEED to tell folks about "Ain't Nothing But..." Blues bar. It is Marvelous (has own web-site)

It is to be found on the road that is the first you come to on the right after turning down Great Marlborough Street at Liberty's.It is braw, and freindly and comfortable and we possibly do need to do it en masse at some point...but not on the 19th (unless forlk are up for really late night! smiley - winkeye )

The bar sounds interesting.

Moon Under the Water would be cool, though I don't reckon it should become a habit to go to the same places each year - variety is good!

An h2g2 en mass late-night/clubbing meet would be good at another time though. Maybe someone should organise an after-party for the saturday meet? smiley - winkeye (not that good an idea seeing how most of us are already smiley - drunk by the time we leave at 11).

Dr E Vibenstein (You know it is, it really is.)

So, given that the pre-meet-meet is tomorrow, have we established yet where and when it's going to be?

I'm going to have to be working tomorrow night smiley - sadface in a pub (new job), so I wont be able to come unless you all decide to come to my pub, (not the best pub in the world), or go somewhere afterwards.

I'm taking a day off from both jobs to be there on saturday though!

I might not be able to make it - we have some cracking pub quiz prizes. No measly T-shirts this time!

But unfortunately they are at home and I have to go and get them at some point!

It very easy to get to, it's just on Charing Cross road near Foyles and all the other bookshops. It's like a two minute walk from Tottenham Court Road.

Have a good time!

Never mind Tink, perhaps Abi has knitted sturdy h2g2 jumpers instead. Or maybe the prize is an h2g2 tattoo, and due to the BBC's lengthy URL it requires extra equipment that she has to go home and collect.

Yes, that is what I will choose to believe.

In the words of Roy Walker of Catchphrase fame; 'Its good but its not right!'

But the prizes *are* really really absurd!
